Attraction Centers in Sariyer

- Sadberk Hanım Museum is the first private museum in Turkey. This place was declared as a museum after Sadberk Hanim who is the wife of Vehbi Koc. The museum was used as a summerhouse before being converted into a museum. There are precious collections of Sadberk Hanim inside of the museum.

- Ataturk Park is a walking track that is a perfect spot for an early jog or evening walk with friends and family. There are various types of plants that visitors can see while they visit.

Transportation in Sariyer

Highways connect the western part of the city to the Black Sea, coast near the Bosphorus, and end in Sariyer. There are three essential highway axes in the area. One of them is the coastal road that follows the Bosphorus and has different names in different districts.

The second is Buyukdere Street, which comes from Zincirlikuyu and is called Haci Osman Bayiri after the Tarabya junction and connects to the coastal road in Kefelikoy. Buyukdere Street is connected to the coastal highway from Istinye to Tarabya. 

The third important highway axis is the west-east direction O-2 Highway, which connects the European Side to the Anatolian Side with the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, whose western leg is in Rumelihisari. 

Sariyer district is also called dead-end street because the land transportation to Istanbul is only through these two axes. There are buses from the district center to Besiktas and Taksim and minibusses to 4. Levent and Besiktas.

To use public transportation, one can take the metro from Hacıosman, Darussafaka, Ataturk Oto Sanayi, and ITU Ayazaga stations, the four northern stations of the M2 Metro Line, to reach the Yenikapı stop from the Levent, Mecidiyekoy, and Taksim route.
