Turkey’s labor force is 32 million people, making Turkey the 3rd largest labor force in Europe (2018).
The young population of Turkey is a significant contributor towards the labor force growth boosting the country’s rank over peer countries. Rapid expansion in universities means Turkey has several university graduates, enabling Turkey to transform the young population and considerable labor force into a skilled workforce.
More than 6.7 million students are enrolled in higher education, and over 80,000 people graduate every year with world-class engineering education. Skilled labor available in Turkey in 2020 was 6%.
